“We are very pleased to have Michael in administration and look forward to his contributions to the future of Coweta. This move is part of our effort to have good succession planning in all our offices,” said Theron Gay, Coweta County Administrator. “This is part of the overall effort to insure competent, quality individuals are in place to carry on the work of the county.”
Fouts, 32, received a bachelor’s degree from LaGrange College in 2003. He began his career as a Network Manager at LaGrange College. He was hired in 2004 as assistant director of Information Technology for Coweta County, and was promoted to director in 2009. Originally from Clayton County, his family relocated to Coweta in 1992. He is married and resides in Moreland with his wife Jane and two children.
“Coweta County is an outstanding community, and I’m very delighted about the opportunity to contribute to the day-to-day operations in this capacity,“ said Fouts.
