0It was expected to be the closure recently of Fayette County’s only full-service gas station. But it turns out that the gas station on South Glynn Street in Fayetteville near the old Melear’s Restaurant continued operating with new owner Thomas Stephens and did not miss a beat.
Aside from the station’s new ownership, the only thing that changed is the name: “Downtown Full-Service,” Stephens said.
“It’s the only full-service gas station in Fayette County,” Stephens added.
The station is open for business from 6 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays and from 6 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturdays.
