Summit to host Jazz Festival
The Summit Church at 1373 Ga. Hwy. 92 S. will have a Jazz Festival on April 28  from 1-4 p.m. The music and the food will be free.  The participating groups will be  The UpSetters , The SoundSketch, and Capo3.  The leaders of these respective groups are: Brad Bradshaw, Mike Wheeler and Butch Watson.  Everyone is welcome.

FPC Spring Fling is April 28 downtown
Fayette Presbyterian Church in Fayetteville will host its “Annual Spring Fling” on Saturday, April 28, from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.  The event will be held at the Downtown Fayetteville Square  Gazebo and Fountain Area (in front of the Government Complex).  It is open to the public to enjoy the musical band, booths for games, free rides and popcorn, information and, food and beverages will be available.  A door prize drawing will be held every hour (tickets $1). Those attending are requested to bring a non-perishable item for donation to the Fayette Samaritans.

Inman’s golf tournament is April 28
The Inman United Methodist Men’s Group will host its Second Annual Friendship Golf Tournament (4 Person Scramble) at Griffin Country Club on April 28, beginning at 9 a.m.  There is a $50 entry fee with proceeds going to help fund Inman United Methodist Youth Mission Trips.  To sign up or for additional information, contact Ed Roehm, 770 855-5273, or by email, edroehm@gmail.com.

‘Kid Fun’ expo is May 5 at COS
Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City  will host a “Summer Kid Fun All Inclusive Expo” on May 5, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. The event is sponsored by Fayette FACTOR. Families can learn about activities ranging from Vacation Bible Schools to summer camps. All are welcome.

Woolsey’s VBS starts June 11
Take flight with “Amazing Wonders Aviation” VBS at Woolsey Baptist Church June 11-15 from 9 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Children ages 4 years through sixth grade completed are eligible. Register online by visiting www.woolseybaptist.org and clicking on the VBS link.

Senoia churces to observe NDoP
Senoia area churches will host a prayer event on May 3 at noon as part of the National Day of Prayer  at the gazebo at the end of Main Street across from Senoia Coffee & Cafe. Leaders from area churches will offer prayer. Senoia United Methodist Church will open its sanctuary for persons to enter for prayer on the day from 9:30 a.m. until 7 p.m. Anyone who wishes to spend time in prayer may enter and pray as briefly or as long as they desire. Senoia UMC is at the corner of Bridge Street and Seavy Street in Senoia.

Bible study meets Thursdays
Elder Jimmie and Evangelist Debra White of Rehoboth Ministries currently lead a series of Bible studies on the Life of Christ. Sessions are held at the American Legion in Fayetteville (log cabin on Ga. Hwy. 85) at 7 p.m. on Thursday evenings. This  study is available free of charge to anyone. There are seven modules and certificates are given at the end of each module. The series will conclude on May 31. For more information, call 404-310-6386.
