McDonough Rd. Baptist’s Women’s Ministry hosts Trudy Cathy White

The McDonough Road Baptist Church Women’s Ministry is hosting a luncheon featuring Trudy Cathy White on Saturday, April 28, at 11:30 a.m. at the church.

The theme of the luncheon will be “Daughters of the King.”

The daughter of Chick-fil-a founder Truett Cathy, White and her husband John are former missionaries to Brazil. After 20 years of international service, they founded the Lifeshape Foundation, which oversees several ministries to young people. She also serves as girls’ director at Winshape Camps located in Mt. Berry and Young Harris, Ga. She is author of Along the Way.

“We are excited to host Trudy Cathy White,” said women’s ministry coordinator Debbie Kilgore. “This is an event for all generations, and will be a time of inspiration and encouragement.”
