The Peachtree City Council will hold its annual planning retreat all day Friday and on Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.
The event will kick off Friday morning with discussion of the city’s technology assessment and the facilities bond projects list, which will include repairs and upgrades for existing city facilities. The latter topic is anticipated to be quite lengthy, perhaps two hours or more, according to city staff.
In the afternoon, council is slated to tackle improvements for recreation and public facilities along with associated budget impacts, the city’s stormwater utility and future financing along with the 2013 budget.
All discussions are expected to continue Saturday morning, lasting from 9 a.m. to noon most likely, officials said.
The meetings will be held at City Hall and the public is welcome to attend. And barring technical difficulties, they will be streamed live on the city’s website also, officials said.
