0Merle Elizabeth Wick, 89, of Fayetteville, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2012.
She loved working with flowers in her garden. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert D. Wick and her son Harry Lee Jackson.
She is survived by her granddaughter Stephanie Hogan of Decatur; three great-grandchildren; sister Louise R. Kidd of Hampton; daughter-in-law Linda Dozier of Fayetteville; several nieces and nephews.
A private memorial service will take place at a later date. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 8, 2012 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
