UPDATE 9:38 p.m. With all the precincts in, Newt Gingrich has taken Fayette County with 45.86 percent of the vote.
Mitt Romney took second place 5,283 votes (28.26 percent) while Rick Santorum took third with 3,698 votes (19.78 percent). Ron Paul came in fourth with 1,045 votes (5.59 percent).
The results will be officially certified Friday at 5 p.m.
