St. Paul plans Lenten services
St. Paul Lutheran Church in Peachtree City will hold mid-week Lenten services on Wednesdays, Feb. 29, and March 7, 14, 21, and 28, also at 5 and 7 p.m. with dinner between services at 6 p.m. The church is at 700 Ardenlee Pkwy. off Ga. Highway 74 in Peachtree City.

Word of God Lutheran plans Lenten events
Word of God Lutheran Church in Peachtree City  will hold Wednesday mid-week Lenten services at 7 p.m. on Feb. 29, March 7, March 14, March 21, and March 28.  Word of God meets at 303 Kelly Dr., Suite 10, Peachtree City. New Hope clown program set for March 2
The Clowns with New Hope Clown Troupe will present “All Things Fun,” a program for the whole family.  The show will take place Friday night, March 2 at 7 p.m., in the New Hope Baptist Church North Campus Worship Center.  Some nationally known entertainers will come together for an evening of magic, juggling, and clowning. Admission is free.

Southern Style Quartet to perform March 4
Members of Peachtree City Christian Church will present the Southern Style Quartet and invite members of the community to join them for an evening of gospel music The concert will be held Sunday, March 4 at 6 p.m. Admission is free. A love offering will taken for Joshua’s Gift — a benevolence ministry of PTC3 that provides backpacks filled with food for the weekend for local school children. Lenten mission set for March 4
Fr. Andy Meiners, addressing the English-speaking community and Fr. Mark Wise, addressing the Spanish-speaking community, will lead the Lenten mission at Holy Trinity Catholic Church on March 4-7 at 7 p.m. The priests will help individuals live a more fruitful Lent giving  new insight of some symbols which help them walk their Journey with Christ. A reflection will be offered after the daily 9 a.m. Mass for the benefit of those who are unable to come in the evening.   For more information, call 770-487-7672.

COS will host McIntosh Choruses
Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church will host a concert by the five choruses of McIntosh High School on March 6 at 7 p.m. The conductor is Hannah Beth Potter. The public is invited and encouraged to attend. The church is at the corner of Peachtree Parkway and Ga. Highway 54 in Peachtree City.

Summit offers free tutoring
The Family Resource Center at The Summit Presbyterian Church offers free tutoring for elementary and high school students. Classes meet on Wednesdays, one from 4-5 p.m. and another from 5-6 p.m. Help is offered in math, reading, homework, science, and language arts. Tutors are supervised by certified teachers. Real Life Center needs donations
The Real Life Center, which operates a food pantry, has a continuous need for food/pantry items. Donations can be dropped off at the Real Life Center, 382 Senoia Rd., Tyrone, Monday through Thursday from  9 a.m. – noon, and Thursday evenings from 5-7 p.m.  The center is sponsored and supported by several churches in the area. Prayer group formed at Summit
A community prayer group at The Summit Family Resource Center, 1373 Ga. Highway 92 S., Fayetteville, meets from 9:30-10:15 a.m. on Thursday mornings. This is an inter-denominational event. Call 770-460-3335 for more information.
