Pauline Alice Collins, 91, of Fairburn, passed away on Jan. 6, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Kedar Braxton Collins and grandchildren, Derry Collins, II and Alison Moody.
She is survived by her sons, Derry Collins of Peachtree City and Phillip Collins and his wife, Jerri of San Antonio, Texas; daughter, Gloria Harvey and her husband, John of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Courtney Collins of Peachtree City and Jennifer Perkins and her husband, Chris of Sarasota, Florida, Melissa Holcombe and her husband Don of Montrose, Colorado, Jason Collins and his wife, Lisa of Austin, Texas, Joshua Collins and his wife Kim and Jonathan Collins and his wife, Geneviéve all of San Antonio, Texas; and 13 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2011 at 1 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Fairburn with Dr. Oscar Cope officiating. Entombment followed at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens in College Park. The family received friends Monday at Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville.
