Henry Alonzo Casey, Jr., age 76, of 225 Hospital St., Plains, died at Phoebe Sumter Medical Center Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2011. A native of Sasser, Mr. Casey was born May 15, 1935, the son of the late Henry Alonzo Casey, Sr. and Fannie Rigsby Casey. He was a member of First Methodist Church and retired from International Minerals and Chemicals where he was employed as a sales manager.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to American Diabetes Association, Atlanta Ga. Office, 17 Executive Park, Suite 115, Atlanta, Ga. 30329-2012.
Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Karen Casey Meeks and Rob of Lawrenceville, Teresa and Chris McPherson of Peachtree City and Jan and Paul Krzykwa of Tyrone; a son and daughter-in-law, Al and Carol Casey of Cumming and nine grandchildren.
