Mary Parker Callahan of LaGrange, previously of Fayetteville, passed away Sunday night at Hospice LaGrange.

She is predeceased by her husband, William Thomas “Tom” Callahan.

She is survived by her sister, Ruth Williams of Williamson; brother, Paul Parker of Decatur; sister-in-law, Pat Mason of Atlanta; daughter, Patricia Callahan of LaGrange; son, Bill and Anne Callahan of Townville, S.C.; grandson, Will Callahan; granddaughter, Mandy and Jeremy Fowler; great grandchildren, Erich and Miah Grace of Lugoff, S.C.

She was a loving and devoted wife for 51 years and mother for 80 years. She dearly loved her family, friends, and she loved music.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Dec. 17, at 2 p.m. at the chapel of Fayetteville First United Methodist Church located just off the square in Fayetteville.

The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1-2 p.m. at the chapel. Interment service will follow for family at Brooks Memorial Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the United Methodist Children’s Home, 500 South Columbia Drive, Decatur, Ga. 30030.
