Mr. Rickey Edward Maloy, age 58, died at Doctor’s Hospice in Fayetteville, Ga. on Nov. 25, 2011 at 4:30 p.m. The cause of death was brain cancer.

He was born July 4, 1953 in Atlanta, Ga. He lived in Hapeville, Forest Park, and Peachtree City before settling in Fayetteville. He was an entrepreneur that enjoyed many different professions from his own sheetrock business to R.E.M. Sign Systems. His illness resulted in an early retirement in June 2011.

Survivors include his wife Randa Williamson Maloy, children, Christa Maloy Flint, Tyler Evan Maloy, Shelby Carter Williamson, and Sawyer Morgan Williamson; sisters, Patricia Maloy Runnels, Shirley Latourrette, and Mary Ann Crowe; brother-In-Law, Larry Runnels; son-in-law Sean Flint; grandson, Brandon Sargent Flint, all who will miss him dearly.

An outside memorial service will be held Saturday, Dec. 10, 2011 at 10 a.m. at Lake Horton Park located at 1275 Antioch Road, Fayetteville, Ga. 30215.
