Free food available Thursday
The Real Life Center in partnership with the Atlanta Community Food Bank will hold its next Mobile Food Pantry on Thursday Oct. 27 in the Dogwood Church parking lot at 975 Ga. Hwy. 74 North. A variety of food items will be distributed free of charge on a first come, first serve basis to families in need of food assistance. For more information contact the Real Life Center, 770-631-9334. The center, located in Tyrone, is open Monday – Thursday, 9 a.m. – noon and Thursday from 5-7 p.m.

COS will have Fall Fun Day Oct. 29
October 29 will be Fall Fun Day at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church for children and their families. Middle school youth will lead games, paint faces, decorate pumpkins and conduct a hay ride. Nat’l Heights plans Fall Festival weekend
National Heights Baptist Church will have its Fall Festival Saturday, Oct. 29 from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. and a Special Worship Service featuring contemporary hymns at 11 a.m. the next day, followed by a potluck lunch. Activities at the Fall Festival include an antique car show, kid’s Moonwalk, a D.J., sidewalk games, face painting, free food, and more. National Heights Baptist Church is at 103 Old Norton Rd., Fayetteville (across from Sandy Creek Road and Ga. Highway 54 intersection).

FCCF plans 5th Sunday service
The Fellowship of Christian Churches and Friends (FCCF) will hold its regular Fifth Sunday Celebration at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 30, at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Peachtree City. The theme for this event is “Men United in Christ.” The guest preacher is the Rev. Larry Ervin of Holly Grove African Methodist Episcopal Church, also in Peachtree City. Brooks UMC plans fall festival
The community is invited to celebrate fall at Brooks United Methodist Church on Sunday, Oct. 30, from 5 to 7 p.m. There will be trunk o’ treating from 5 to 6 and carnival games from 6 – 7 p.m. Halloween costumes and candy bags are encouraged. The Brooks Methodist Women’s group will serve soup, cornbread and hotdogs for donations. Brooks UMC is at the corner of Ga. TFBC announces Fall Festival at Shamrock
“Fall Festival at Shamrock” sponsored by Tyrone First Baptist Church will be held Monday, Oct. 31, from 5 -8 p.m. at Shamrock Park in downtown Tyrone. The event will feature inflatables, games, candy, food, and fun.

Woolsey plans fall festival
The annual Fall Festival of Woolsey Baptist Church will be Monday night, Oct. 31, from 6 – 8 p.m. There will be fun activities for the whole family, including: games, candy, cake-walk, trunk or treat, hot dogs, popcorn, and more. MRBC will host Fall Festival Oct. 31
McDonough Road Baptist Church in Fayetteville will host a fall festival on Monday, Oct. 31, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Kiddie games, snow cones, hayrides, face painting, and the famous cake walk are among the featured activities. New Hope’s run/walk set for Nov. 4 & 5
Heart Cry Ministry at New Hope Baptist Church will sponsor its 11th Annual 5K Run/ Walk, Kid’s Fun Run, “Footsteps for the Orphan,” including a pasta dinner, and silent auction Friday and Saturday, Nov. 4 and 5. The run/walk will be Saturday, Nov. 5, at 8 a.m., 551 New Hope Road, Fayetteville. Pre-Registration is $20 if received by Oct. 28 ($15 for Kid’s Fun Run). Registration after the 28th is $25 ($20 for Kids Fun Run). All proceeds will benefit Heart Cry’s Orphan Ministry. The pasta dinner and silent auction will take place Fri.
