Woolsey will host several guest speakers at ‘Changed Crusade’

The public is invited to Woolsey Baptist Church’s Changed Crusade Sunday-Wednesday, Nov. 6-9. The theme comes from 2 Corinthians 5:17, “If anyone is in Christ He is a new creation.”

Larry Wynn will speak Sunday at 8:15 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. Wynn is senior vice president for the Evangelism and Leadership Development Group at the North American Mission Board (NAMB). He has been a pastor and was president of the Georgia Baptist Convention.

Chris McDaniel speaks Sunday at the 6 p.m. service. After being with the award winning multi-platinum selling country group, Confederate Railroad, and going into rehab for a cocaine addiction, he was convicted and totally surrendered his life to Christ.

Monday-Wednesday services begin at 7 p.m. On Monday night, Alvin Reid, professor of evangelism and student ministry at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, N.C. will be the speaker.

Kevin Hamm speaks Tuesday night. He is senior pastor of Gardendale F.B.C. in Gardendale, Ala. He has preached at many states’ evangelism conferences.

And, on Wednesday night, Bailey Smith speaks. He is an evangelist and is a former president of the Southern Baptist Convention.

Rick Stone, minister of music for FBC- Birmingham, Ala., will lead the music at the crusade. He previously was minister of music at FBC- Jonesboro.

A meal will be served from 5 – 6:30 p.m. in the activities room of the church. Donations for the meals will be accepted from church members and guests eat free. Call the church office, 770-461-9618, to R.S.V.P. by Nov. 4.

There will be a special focus and a testimony at each service. Childcare will be provided.
