James Franklin Dietz, III “Jim” 64, of Peachtree City, Ga., died Oct. 3, 2011.
He was born in Charlotte, N.C. to James Franklin Dietz, Sr. and Dorothy Jackson Dietz.
Mr. Dietz served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was an avid golfer & awesome “grandpa.”
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife Judy Dietz of Peachtree City; sons Jay Dietz of Newnan, Jason “Randy” Dietz and wife Kim of Newnan; three loving grandchildren Lindsey, Emma and Grant; brother Jack Dietz and wife Betty of Lillian, Ala.; sisters Patsy Fincher and husband Jerry of Westminster, Md. and Camille Brown and husband Tommy of Charlotte, N.C. along with two nephews and three nieces.
