Capt., USN (ret.) and Mrs. Richard Holloway of Fayetteville announce the engagement of their daughter, Abigail Patricia, to Andrew Jonathan White, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert White of Huntsville, Ala.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Col., USA (ret.) Ronald Ochis and the late Mrs. Elisabeth Prosser Ochis of Lawton, Okla., and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Holloway of Frankfort, Ind. She is a 2003 graduate of Starr’s Mill High School and a 2007 cum laude graduate of Auburn University, where she received a bachelor of arts degree in journalism and a minor in Spanish. She was also a member of Sigma Kappa sorority and the assistant editor of Campus Life for the Auburn University Plainsman. She is currently employed as the assistant general manager of Village Mall in Auburn, Ala.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Hardeman of Atlanta and the late Mr. and Mrs. William White, also of Atlanta. He is a 2001 graduate of Sparkman High School in Huntsville, Ala. and a 2004 graduate of Auburn University, where he received bachelor’s and master’s degrees of electrical engineering, and is currently a doctoral candidate of electrical engineering. While pursuing his Ph.D., he is also a teaching assistant at Auburn University.
The wedding will be on New Year’s Eve, 2011, at Vinewood Plantation in Newnan.
