The Peachtree City Squadron of the Civil Air Patrol is in need of a sponsor. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has donated one of its trailers to the Squadron for use as a mission base. Peachtree City’s Atlanta Regional Airport (Falcon Field) has provided the land necessary to set up the trailer. The Squadron lacks only one item: a long-term concrete trailer foundation. The cost for laying the foundation is estimated from $4,000 to $5,000. Because the Civil Air Patrol is a nonprofit organization, any sponsorship or donations will qualify for a 501(c)(3) tax exemption.
If interested, please contact Second Lieutenant Richard Saboda at 770-461-3376, Maj. Randall Stastny (the Squadron Commander) at 770-487-1644, or Major William Nipper at 770-631-6688.
The U.S. Civil Air Patrol was formed more than 70 years ago, and the Peachtree City Squadron (GA-116) has been active since 1989.
The Squadron is a nonprofit organization and an auxiliary of the U.S. Air Force.
