Susan Levine, 62, of Riverdale, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 10, 2011.
She was born to the late Charles and Thelma Adler in Akron, Ohio, and in 1980, moved to Georgia, where she found her passion as a cantorial soloist at Congregation B’nai Israel.
She is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Raphael Levine; her son, Scott Isaac and his wife, Kerry; her daughter, Tara Hughes and her husband, Eugene; her grandchildren, Nicholas and Kate Isaac, and Sabrina Hughes; her sisters, Robin Ledridge and Carol Montesinos; and her brother, Tommy Israel.
A graveside service was officiated by Rabbi Feldstein at Camp Memorial Park in Fayetteville, GA at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 12, 2011 and an on-line guest book may be signed at www.edressler.com. Shiva was held at the Levine’s house in Riverdale at 7:00 p.m. both Saturday, August 13 and Sunday, August 14.
