Katherine Lynne Sciera and Eric Allyn Snyder were married on the lawn at Magnolia Hall at Piedmont Park on April 30, 2011, in Atlanta. Bryan Buck of Atlanta conducted the wedding.
The bride is the daughter of John and Mary Sciera of Fayetteville. She is the granddaughter of the late John and Maria Sciera, of Hudson, N.Y., and Dorothy Christopher and the late Verland Christopher of DeMotte, Ind.
The groom is the son of Deborah Snyder, of Orlando, Fla. and Percy Snyder, of Greencastle, Ind. He is the grandson of the late Leon and Anna Snyder, and the late Margurite Grimes, all of Greencastle, Ind.
The bride, escorted by her father, wore an ivory, strapless gown of satin and tulle trimmed with decorative beading. She carried a spring bouquet with tulips and muscari.
The bride’s sister, Suzanne Prouty, of Cumming, served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Allison Egger, of Mableton, and Jennifer Roehm, of Jeffersonville, Ind. The flower girl was Ellie Buck of Atlanta.
Percy Snyder, of Orlando, served as the best man. Groomsmen were Percy Snyder, of Greencastle, Ind., and Greg Ferris, of Indianapolis, Ind. The ring bearer was Jacob Prouty, of Cumming.
Following the ceremony, a dinner and dance reception was held at the Piedmont Park’s Magnolia Hall. Mr. and Mrs. Snyder honeymooned in St. Maarten and now reside in Smyrna.
