CDM will host Spring Revival
Christ Discipleship Ministries (CDM), 114 W. Campbellton St., Fairburn, will host Spring Revival Meetings with Pastor Gerald Gibson of River of Grace Temple Christian Church of Jonesboro on Thursday evening, May 12, at 7:30 p.m. and Friday evening, May 13, at 8 p.m. For further information and/or directions, contact the CDM office, 770-969-8370. Cantata planned at Sharpsburg Baptist
Sharpsburg Baptist Church, in conjunction with Northside Baptist Church of Newnan, will host the presentation of the musical, “How Great Is Our God,” to be presented at Sharpsburg Baptist on May 14 at 6 p.m. and at Northside Baptist on May 15 at 6 p.m. Admission is free and seats are available on a first come first served basis. Woolsey plans High Attendance Sunday
Woolsey Baptist Church, 115 Hampton Road in Fayetteville will have High Attendance Day in Sunday School on Sunday, May 15. Sunday School starts at 9:30 a.m. Worship services are: 8:15 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. A cook-out will be at 12:15 p.m. with free hamburgers, hot dogs and side items. There will be plenty of games for the children and adults at the cook-out. The entire community is invited. Brooks UMC plans blood drive May 23
The Red Cross will be at Brooks UMC for a blood drive on May 23, from 3 to 8 p.m. Appointments are suggested but walk-ins are welcome. To make an appointment, call the church office, 770-719-7593 or email brookschurch@bellsouth.net. Two pairs of roundtrip Delta Air Line tickets will be given away to donors who give blood between April 1 and June 30, 2011. Brooks UMC is three miles south of Ga. Highway 85 (at Starrs Mill) on Ga. Highway 85 Connector.

S.A.G.E. heads for Stone Mountain
The S.A.G.E. group (Senior Adults Going Everywhere) at Fayetteville First UMC will travel to Stone Mountain for an outing from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on June 22. The cost is $25 plus “lunch on your own” at one of the Stone Mountain Park restaurants. Reservations and payment are due no later than June 15 at noon in the church office. The trip is dependent on a minimum of 15 persons participating. The church is across from the Fayette County Courthouse in downtown Fayetteville.
