0Lucille George Bailey, age 83, of Peachtree City went to be with her Lord and Saviour on April 28, 2011.
Lucille was born November 3, 1927 in Enoree, SC, the daughter of Franklin Augustus George and Annie Mae Jones, deceased, and sister of Charles George, deceased.
She is survived by 3 children, Emilie McLaughlin and husband Leon of Jonesboro, GA; Patrice Lewis and husband Raymond of Birmingham, AL; and Minor L. Bailey and wife Terri of Sharpsburg, GA, 4 grandchildren, David, Jennifer, Matthew and Megan, and 4 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by one brother, Kenneth George of Valdosta, GA.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jonesboro, GA, and an active member of Saints Alive. She worked for the Atlanta Braves and then Atlanta Falcons until her retirement in 1996.
The family will receive friends Friday, April 29th, 2011, 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, GA. Funeral services will be held at 4pm, Saturday, April 30th, 2011, in the chapel at First Baptist Church, Jonesboro, GA. Burial will follow at Camp Memorial Park.
