PTC Presbyterian plans rummage sale
First Presbyterian Church will have a rummage sale to help the youth go on a mission trip to Chattanooga for the second year in a row. The sale will be held Saturday, April 30, from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. First Presbyterian is at 206 Willowbend Rd., near City Hall and the Peachtree City Library.

St. Christopher’s will host tea
St. Christopher Hellenic Orthodox Church will host its annual Philoptochos Tea (Friends of the Poor) on Saturday, May 7 from noon to 2 p.m. at the Peachtree City Event Center, 313 Dividend Drive. Tickets are $25. The tea will feature homemade treats such as scones, savories and four types of sweets. All proceeds go to local Fayette and Coweta charities. Brooks UMC preschool opens registration
Brooks United Methodist Preschool is taking registration for the 2011-2012 school year. The preschool is for children ages 1 – 4 years. The director is Lynn Lee. Turn onto Ga. 85 Connector from Highway 85 and go south for three miles. The church is on the corner of Ga. 85 Connector and Morgan Mill Road at 110 Morgan Mill Road.

CDM will begin ‘Hype Night’ services
Christ Discipleship Ministries (CDM), located at 114 W. Campbellton Street, Fairburn, will launch a weekly Saturday evening Hype Night church service beginning Saturday, May 7, from 6 – 7:30 p.m. The service will include a D.J., Rap, Spoken Word, Step Dancing, Mime, and more. Woolsey plans High Attendance Sunday
Woolsey Baptist Church, 115 Hampton Road in Fayetteville will have High Attendance Day in Sunday School on Sunday, May 15. Sunday School starts at 9:30 a.m. Worship services are: 8:15 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. A cook-out will be at 12:15 p.m. with free hamburgers, hot dogs and side items. There will be plenty of games for the children and adults at the cook-out. The entire community is invited. CTK hosts healing seminar
The Cathedral of Christ the King in Sharpsburg recently hosted a healing seminar led by The Venerable William G. McLoughlin for the Jehovah Rapha Chapter of the International Order of St. Luke the Physician. The topic of the seminar was “Breaking Generational Curses.” It was attended by people from a wide variety of churches in the Fayette/Coweta area. McLoughlin is the archdeacon for the Diocese of the Carolinas and serves as founding pastor of Church of the Resurrection, Asheville, N.C.
