Mr. Lyman Jack Collins, 98, of Fayetteville, passed away on March 18, 2011.
Mr. Collins was born in Rico, GA on March 24, 1912 to the late Aaron and Laura Collins. He proudly served two tours of duty during World War II with the Black Hawk Division, one in the Pacific and one in Europe. After 40 years of dedicated service, he retired from Arrow Shirt Company.
Mr. Collins is preceded in death by his wife Evelyn Collins and daughter Jan Larry.
He is survived by his sister Rubye Barnes of Fayetteville ; grandchildren Christopher Larry and Brad Jones; several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, March 20, 2011 at 2:30 PM at Holly Hill Funeral Home, Fairburn, with Dr. Bill Lacy officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Southwest Christian Care, 7225 Lester Road , Union City , GA 30291 .
