Juanita Kirkpatrick Wilhelm, 82, passed away peacefully on March 13, 2011 in Peachtree City, GA after having been diagnosed with lung cancer in January of this year.
Juanita was born and raised in Paint Rock Valley, Alabama and had resided in Huntsville for the last nine years. She lived in Orlando, Florida from 1956-2002 with her husband of 56 years, George Brooks Wilhelm, who passed away in 2002. She was one of eight children born to the late Todd and Lessie Kirkpatrick of Trenton, Alabama.
Juanita will forever be remembered by her son, John Wilhelm and his wife Anne of Birmingham, AL; daughter Jennifer Lehmann, of Peachtree City, GA ; as well as her two grandchildren Johnathan Wilhelm and Erica Lehmann Moats; her surviving sister Etta Mae Lynn; cousin Nettie Jean Brand; and countless other cousins, nieces and nephews, who were blessed to know her. Juanita loved decorating, cooking, shopping, and having fun with family and friends.
The family will receive visitors at Berryhill Funeral Home at 2305 Memorial Parkway Northwest, Huntsville, Alabama, on Wednesday, March 16th from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. A memorial service in the chapel of Berryhill Funeral Home will take place on Thursday, March 17th at 11:00 a.m. Juanita will be buried at Cedar Hill Cemetery , 301 S. Cedar Hill Drive, Scottsboro , Alabama 35768 .
