According to Joe Frazar, Chairman of the 26th Annual Art and Music Showcase sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Peachtree City, the talent exhibited this year by Fayette County students is “the best ever in the history of our competition.”

The 140 art entries have already been judged by local artists and the music auditions have been held.  On Monday, Mar. 21 at 7 p.m. at The Bridge Community Center at 225 Willowbend Road the music finalists will compete for over $4000 in prizes. Admission is free to the public. All art work will also be on display with awards going to top entries.

Children compete against others in their own age bracket and grade levels. Students from public and private schools in Fayette County, plus home-schooled students, will perform in a variety of musical acts. As Frazar puts it, “They are absolutely amazing!”
