The Episcopal Church of the Nativity in Fayetteville will mark the beginning of Lent with three special services Wednesday, March 9.
The Holy Eucharist, including the liturgy for Ash Wednesday with imposition of ashes, will be celebrated at 7 a.m., noon, and 7 p.m. that day.
Beginning on March 16 and running through April 13, Church of the Nativity will conduct special Wednesday night Lenten programs. They will include a brief worship service at 7 p.m., a soup and bread supper at 7:30 p.m., followed by discussions on the theme of “Discovering Your Spiritual Gifts.”
All programs are open to the public.
Church of the Nativity is located at 130 Antioch Road, just off Georgia Route 92, south of downtown Fayetteville.
