Mrs. Fanny Joiner, of Fayetteville, passed away on December 8, 2010 at the age of 87.
Mrs. Joiner was a loving wife, mother and grandmother whose favorite times were spent reading her Bible, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren. Fanny had a green thumb. She was known for her beautiful caladiums among other flowers, which once allowed her garden to be chosen as “garden of the month.” She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Peachtree City.
She is survived by her children, Elvera Rose Joiner of Indianola, MS, Charles Russell Joiner (Teresa) of Fayetteville, GA, Patricia Joiner Ussery (Sandy) of River Ridge, LA, Barbara Jean Raziano (Dennis) of Mandeville, LA; grandchildren, Kimberley Hale (Bradley) of Norcross, GA, Amy Rouse (Matthew) of Baton Rouge, LA, Elizabeth Joiner McVay of Fayetteville, GA, Patrick Shay (Donna) of River Ridge, LA, Rebecca Mousner (Tracy) of Carlsbad, CA, Daniel Vengler (Tiffany) of Ramona, CA, David Raziano (Naomi) of Misouri City, TX, Randy Raziano (Kandee) of Madisonville, LA; twelve great-grandchildren; brothers Larry Ferracci (Maxine) of Denham Springs, LA, John D. Ferracci (Martha) of Choudrant, LA; and sister Jeanette Hardin of Franklinton, LA.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, December 12, 2010 at 3:00 PM at Mowell Funeral Home, Peachtree City with Rev. Dr. Steve Bingham officiating. Burial will follow in Westminster Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 2:00 to 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
