St. Paul announces Advent services
Christmas Mid-week Advent Services will be held Dec. 1 and Dec. 8 with two service times, 5 and 7 p.m. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. On Dec. 15, Advent Worship will consist of a Children’s Christmas Program at 7 p.m. No dinner will be served. Inman UMC will host auction, breakfast
The men of Inman United Methodist Church will host a Breakfast and Silent Auction from 8 – 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 4 in the Fellowship Hall located at 151 Hills Bridge Road, Fayetteville. Admission is free; donations will be accepted.

Holy Trinity youth to perform cantata
The youth choirs at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Peachtree City will combine to present a Christmas Cantata Sunday., Dec. 5 at 3 p.m. This simple Nativity program is for young and old alike. Holy Trinity is on the corner of Walt Banks Road and Ga. Highway 54.

Children and youth to star in Inman’s play
The Inman United Methodist Church’s Children and Youth will present “The Inn Keeper’s Dilemma” on Sunday, Dec. 5, at 6 p.m. in the church sanctuary, 151 Hills Bridge Road, Fayetteville. ‘Blue Christmas’ service set for Monday
Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church’s annual Blue Christmas Service of Hope will take place on Monday, Dec. 6, at 7 p.m. This service offers encouragement and hope for those who might be experiencing anxiety or sadness as the holiday season approaches. The theme is “Thrill of Hope” and the service includes a time of peace, meditation, and prayer. Music will be offered by the Christ Our Shepherd Flute Choir and soloist Delee Rehak, who will sing “O Holy Night.” The church is on the corner of Ga. Highway 54 and Peachtree Parkway in Peachtree City.

Prophet Chambers Revival set for Dec. 10
Pastor Timothy Frazier will present Prophet Chambers Revival on Friday evening, Dec. 10, at 8 p.m. at Christ Discipleship Ministries (CDM), 114 W. Campbellton Street, Fairburn. For directions, contact the CDM office, 770-969-8370. No nursery or childcare will be provided.

Holy Trinity to present ‘Lessons and Carols’
The adult choirs of Holy Trinity Catholic Church will present A Festival of Lessons and Carols Saturday, Dec. 11 at 7:30 p.m. The Handbell Choir will also participate. A reception for all will follow the event. Holy Trinity Catholic Church is at the intersection of Ga. Highway 54 and Walt Banks Road, Peachtree City.

Inman cantata planned for Dec. 12
The Inman United Methodist Church Chancel Choir will perform its Christmas Cantata, “Shine His Light,” on Sunday, Dec. 12, at the 11 a.m. worship service. The church is at 151 Hills Bridge Road, Fayetteville.

FFUMC plans ‘Lessons and Carols’ Dec. 12
Fayetteville First United Methodist Church will have its Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols Sunday, Dec. 12, at 8:30 and 11 a.m. The combined choirs, along with all the children’s choirs, will participate. The FFUMC orchestra will accompany the choir on several pieces. The church is across from the courthouse in downtown Fayetteville.

Flat Creek will present ‘Festival of Carols’
Flat Creek Baptist Church will have its Festival of Carols Sunday, Dec. 12 at 6 p.m. The combined choir and orchestra will perform. Flat Creek is on Flat Creek Trail between Ga. Highway 54 and Tyrone Road.

Southern Crescent Chorale to perform
First Presbyterian Church, Peachtree City, will host “Christmas with the Southern Crescent Chorale,” Sunday, Dec. 12, at 3 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for students and seniors. Tickets are available at Fayette County, Library, at “By Invitation Only” on the square in Fayetteville, or at the door. Online tickets are available at www.southerncrescentchorale.org.
