What makes Georgia Dance Theatre’s Nutcracker Tea different from every other Nutcracker in our community?  It is the only interactive, family event where you and your children can fill up on holiday treats, dance with the characters of the The Nutcracker Ballet, tell Santa what you want for Christmas and take home a picture with him. Oh, and you can meet the Sugar Plum Fairy, Clara and the whole cast of characters after the performance.

Georgia Dance Theatre has been giving the community this timeless classic for 18 years.  Don’t miss out on this year’s holiday presentation of excerpts from the Nutcracker Ballet: an enchanting afternoon that the entire family will enjoy.  All children ages 3 and up will participate in the event, no audition required.  This is a great way to introduce your child to the stage in a very relaxed atmosphere.  Girls can put on their favorite party dress, bring their favorite doll and dance with Clara.  Boys (and girls) can help the Nutcracker doll in the battle against the Rat King.  It will be great holiday event that your whole family will enjoy.

The Nutcracker Tea will be held at Bennett’s Mill Middle School on Saturday, Dec. 4 at 5 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 5 at 5 p.m.  Bennett’s Mill Middle School is located at 210 Lester Road, Fayetteville, Ga.

Tickets to this all-inclusive event are just $15 and can be purchased online at www.gadance.com with VISA or MasterCard.  Purchase tickets for the entire family as soon as possible.
