The temperature got colder as the night wore on, but several local teams stayed hot, picking up important region wins. Sandy Creek and East Coweta both remained undefeated, while Whitewater and Our Lady of Mercy
continued their more modest winning streaks.
Things weren’t as good for Landmark and McIntosh, both lost in blowouts, and Fayette County squandered an early lead to give Upson-Lee their first win of the season.
