Southside will host Fall Festival
Southside Baptist Church in Fayetteville will host its Fall Festival Saturday, Oct. 16, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be free food, fun games for kids, and inflatables including an inflatable rock wall. The church is at 1332 Ga. Hwy. 92 South, Fayetteville.

Hopewell opens Pumpkin Patch
The annual Pumpkin Patch at Hopewell UMC in Tyrone will remain open throughout the month of October. The Patch proceeds are used for mission projects and programs in the church. The Patch hours of operation will be Sunday through Friday from noon until 7:30 p.m., and Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. The church is at 351 Jenkins Rd., across from Sandy Creek High School.

All Nations health fair is Oct. 16
All Nations Church Atlanta will present is first 2010 Fall S.T.R.E.T.C.H. Fair Saturday, Oct. 16 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at the All Nations Church lot, 1381 Ga. Hwy. 85, Fayetteville. The event will feature sereenings for blood pressure, cholesterol and vision, with booths set up for information on cancer, cardiovascular health, diabetes, massage therapy, health and fitness, lung health and nutrition. Georgia Singers to perform at FFUMC
The Georgia Singers, a young ladies’ choral group made up primarily of singers from Fayette County, will perform at the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church Sunday, Oct. 17, at the 11 a.m. service. The group is under the direction of Dr. Frank Green. FFUMC is in downtown Fayetteville, across from the Fayette County Courthouse.

Liberty Baptist revival set for Oct 17-20
Liberty Baptist Church in Fayetteville will host a “Send Us Rain Revival” Sunday through Wednesday, Oct. 17-20. On Oct. 17, Liberty’s own Pastor Gilbert Fields will preach at the 10:45 a.m. service and Dr. Dean Haun of First Baptist Church of Morristown, Tenn. will preach at 7 pm. Haun will also speak Monday – Wednesday, Oct. 18-20 at 7 pm. Music for the revival will be led by Vernon Thornton of Central Baptist Church in Douglasville. All Nations plans fashion show luncheon

November Craft Sale tables available
Bethany United Methodist Church will have a Craft Sale Saturday, Nov. 20, from 8 a.m. until mid-afternoon. All area crafters are welcome to have a table of their craft items at the sale. Inman plans Trunk or Treat
Halloween “Trunk or Treat” at Inman United Methodist Church, 151 Hillsbridge Rd., Fayetteville, will be Saturday, Oct. 23, from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend a free Trunk or Treat night of fun and fellowship.
