0Elpidio Apanay, 96, Fayetteville, died Sept. 2, 2010. He was preceded in death by son, Elpidio Apanay Jr. Memorial services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel. Survivors include sons Dr. Manolo and Gloria Apanay, Marietta, and Julian and Zeny Apanay, Las Vegas; daughters, Filomena and Eddie Dela Concha, Fayetteville, and Dolores and Gerry Morales, San Francisco; 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and daughter-in-law, Myna Apanay. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
