Holy Trinity starts GriefShare Sept. 8 & 10
Griefshare, a 13-week Christian video/discussion support group for those who have lost a loved one, will be offered at Holy Trinity Church in Peachtree City beginning Wednesday, evening, Sept. 8 and Friday morning, Sept. 10. Each GriefShare session is self-contained so one can begin attending at any time. Sessions will be offered on Wednesday evenings from 7-9 p.m. and on Friday mornings from 9:30-10:30 a.m. For more information and to pre-register, contact Gayle Reddy at 770-631-8251. ‘Awakening’ event planned for Sept. 11
Covenant Presbyterian Church will sponsor a “New Christ Awakening in Our Nation” to be held at noon on Saturday, Sept. 11, at the Fayette County Courthouse on the square in Fayetteville. Free adult ESL classes offered in PTC
Carriage Lane Presbyterian Church, PCA, in Peachtree City will offer English as a Second Language (ESL) classes for adults beginning Friday, Sept. 10 and Sunday, Sept. 12. Classes will meet weekly through mid-May 2011. Students may join at any time. Class times are Fridays from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. and Sundays from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., with childcare available for Friday classes only. The church is at 101 Carriage Lane, Peachtree City.
