Joan Estelle Dunn, age 78 of Forest Park, Ga, formerly of Rome, Ga, went to be with the Lord July 12, 2010, after her long, courageous battle with cancer.
Joan formed many meaningful relationships throughout her life, including those formed during 32 years working at Ford Animal Clinic in Forest Park. She enriched many lives with her love, her knowledge, and her amazing talents, and she inspired everyone she met with her strength, determination, and faith. She was a well-read, beautiful, caring mother to her three daughters and a devoted sister to her siblings. She will be forever loved and cherished by her surviving family members: Phyllis Gross Young and family, Janice Gross Marbut and family, Amy Gross Hamrick and family, Betty Caudle and family, and Doris Acker and family. They each find comfort in knowing their beloved mother, sister, and Granny will live eternally with her Savior, Jesus Christ, our Lord.
