The Factor Grandparent Raising Grandchildren (GRG) committee at The Summit Church has brought key stakeholders together to provide a grief camp for children being raised in grandparent/relative care homes.

Camp Re-Mix, offered July 16-18, is a three-day, two-night weekend camp for children 7-14 years of age who are living in relative care placement. The Camp experience will include regular camp activities, swimming, hiking, and campfires.

Therapeutic activities include, art, skits, and small group discussion.

The clinical director is Kristie Maxwell, LPC, a certified trauma specialist practicing in Fayette County.

For more information, contact the Rev. Sandi Wilmesherr at 770-460-3335 or www.fayettefactor.org/GRG.
