Handbell lessons offered in July
Peachtree City United Methodist Church will offer a series of free handbell lessons for adults and high school/college students.The one-hour lessons, from 7 – 8 p.m., will be given on July 5, 12, 19 and 26. Last ‘Terrific Tuesday’ is July 6
The Summit will host the final “Terrific Tuesdays” for kids ages 4-11, July 6 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Kids bring their own lunches, there will be art activities, stories and lots of fun. or 770-460-3335 for more information.

Ables will perform at B-Acts meeting
Joe and Gina Ables from Mills Chapel Baptist Church in Newnan will perform at the July B-Acts meeting at Flat Creek Baptist Church July 8 at 7 p.m. B-Acts is for seniors age 50 or older. Those attending for the first time are guests of the group. Members are requested to bring a vegetable and a salad or dessert. Meat is provided by the church. Upward Basketball Camp set
McDonough Road Baptist Church of Fayetteville will host an Upward Basketball camp July 19-22, from 6-8 p.m. at the church facility. The camp is for boys and girls from kindergarten age through eighth grade. The participants will receive a camp t-shirt, water bottle, poster and basketball, as well as special recognition throughout the camp experience. Registration is $50 before July 11, and $60 after July 11. McDonough Road Baptist Church is just past the department of drivers’ services building at 352 McDonough Rd. Suzie Jones to speak at CDM
Christ Discipleship Ministries (CDM) will host a Times of Refreshing meeting Sunday, July 11, at 5 p.m. The speaker will be Pastor Suzie Jones, full time senior pastor of the Ministry of New Life, Inc., in southwest Atlanta. New Hope announces two camps
New Hope Baptist Church will offer Preschool Day Camp July 12 – 16, from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. for preschoolers age 4 (by Sept. 1, 2010) through kindergarten. The cost is $65. Those attending should bring a lunch and drink each day. New Hope will partner with Dogwood Church for C3 Winshape Camp (held at Dogwood Church) July 26-30, from 7:45 a.m. – 5 p.m., for kids in grades 1-6 (just completed.)The cost is $179.
