Mr. and Mrs. Edward William Secor of Peachtree City announce the engagement of their daughter, Mary Beth Secor, to Jason Robert Sebring, son of Mr. and Mrs. Craig Robert Sebring of Valdosta.
The bride-to-be is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Shannon of Stanley, N.Y., and of Mrs. Doris Secor and the late Bruce Secor of Victor, N.Y. She is a 2004 honor graduate of McIntosh High school and a 2008 magna cum laude graduate of Valdosta State University in Valdosta, earning a bachelor of science degree in early childhood education. She is currently employed with the Valdosta City School System, teaching third grade at S.L. Mason Elementary School in Valdosta.
The groom-elect is the grandson of Mrs. Priscilla DeNyse of Greene, N.Y., the late Robert Morris of Rockford, Ill., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Walter Sebring of Nicholville, N.Y. He is a 1999 honor graduate of Lowndes High School in Valdosta and a 2004 graduate of Valdosta State University in Valdosta, earning a bachelor of science degree in business administration. He also obtained his master’s degree in business administration from Webster University in 2006. He is currently employed at Moody Air Force Base in Valdosta.
The wedding will be Saturday, Dec. 18, 2010 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Peachtree City. A reception will follow at the Wyndham Peachtree Conference Center. Following their honeymoon, the couple will reside in Valdosta.
