Mr. and Mrs. Brian Gunter of Fayetteville announce the engagement of their daughter, Anna Elizabeth Gunter, to David Douglas Burrell, son of the Rev. and Mrs. Doug Burrell also of Fayetteville.

The bride-to-be is the great-granddaughter of Betty Bennett and the late James Bennett of Griffin. She is the granddaughter of Annette Reynolds and the late James Reynolds, also of Griffin, and Sheila Gunter and the late James Gunter of Cordele. She is a graduate of Whitewater High School and a senior theatre education major at Piedmont College.

The groom-elect is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Max Burrell of Royston and the late Ernest Bond and the late Ethel Bond of Albany. He is a graduate of Starr’s Mill High School and is a senior music performance and education major at the University of Georgia.

A local wedding is planned for Saturday, July 10, 2010. Following a honeymoon to Jamaica, the couple will reside in Athens, Ga.
