Mrs. Maureen Loretta Fernandez, 79, of Fayetteville, passed away on June 6, 2010.
Mrs. Fernandez is preceded in death by her husband, Andrew A. Fernandez.
She is survived by her son, Andrew Fernandez of Charlotte, NC; daughter, Jean Tanner and her husband Daniel of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Desiree Bortello of Charlotte, Christine Scholl and her husband Vince of Rockingham, NC, Chad Fernandez of Charlotte, Justin Fernandez of Charlotte, Christopher Tanner and his wife Cindy of Fayetteville, Lisa Tanner of Buford, Jimmy Tanner of Fayetteville and Kathy Tanner of Fayetteville; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, one sister and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 12, 2010 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donation be made to the American Lung Association, 2452 Spring Road, Smyrna , Georgia 30080.
