The Southern Crescent Chorale makes its seventh appearance at the Villages Amphitheater with “fun in the sun music” at our Beach Party on Saturday, May 22 at 8 p.m.

The seventy-five voice choir will fill the evening air with Carolina Beach music, The Beach Boys, and other oldies. There will be something for everyone at this rockin’ concert including Shag Dance lessons starting at 7:15! The Chorale will be accompanied by the Don McSwain jazz band and will be singing many of your favorites including Carolina Beach favorites “Kansas City,” “Under the Boardwalk,” “Stand By Me,” “The Shoop Shoop Song,” and “Stagger Lee” as well Beach Boys hits like “Fun, Fun, Fun,” “Good Vibrations,” and ” I Get Around.”

You can bring your own picnic and drinks or plan to enjoy Chick-fil-a favorites from the Fayetteville Dwarf House. Come early and enjoy the atmosphere and learn the shag. During intermission, there will be drawings for Villages Amphitheater series tickets as well as dinners from Broadway Diner. Tickets are $15 for adults and $12 for students and seniors (60 and up).
