Inman youth to host yard sale Saturday
The youth of Inman UMC will host a rummage sale this Saturday, April 24, from 7 a.m. – 2 p.m. to raise funds for the summer mission initiatives in Appalachia. Items include furniture, tools, housewares, electronics and more. The sale will be held at 151 Hills Bridge Road, off of Ga. Highway 92 South. Whitewater Golf Scramble supports Kenya
First Presbyterian Church of Peachtree City will sponsor a Golf Scramble at the Whitewater Golf Club on April 24 to help support mission work in Kenya. A $25 donation for the missionary work is requested over and above the green’s fees. Sign in at 11 a.m. for a shot gun start at noon. Opportunities are available to sponsor a hole for $150. Young celebrates 10 years at FFC
Fayette Family Church will celebrate 10 years with Senior Pastor Jerry Young, Sunday, April 25 at the 10:30 a.m. worship service. Russian group to perform at COS Tuesday
LYRA, five singers from St. Petersburg, Russia, will present a concert at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church in Peachtree City on Tuesday, April 27, at 7 p.m. The group is on a tour of the U.S. South and East Coast. They will sing Russian classical and liturgical music, as well as Russian folk songs. There is no admission fee, but donations will be collected to pay their expenses. Christ Our Shepherd is on the corner of Ga. Highway 54 and Peachtree Parkway.

Faith Lutheran will host soccer camp
Faith Lutheran in Sharpsburg will host Soccer Camp 2010 June 21-24. Under the theme “Win the Prize”, children ages 4-13 will spend four days learning valuable soccer skills from an experienced coaching staff . Camp is from 9 a.m. to noon each day, and concludes with a special Soccer Sunday barbecue and festival at the church on June 27. Lutheroad Day camp coming up in June
Lutheroad Day Camp will be offered at Christ Our Shepherd Lutheran Church June 12-16, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. (except Friday, which finishes at noon). Staffing the day camp will be young adults from Lutheridge, a ministry of Lutheran Outdoor Ministries of North Carolina. Children who have finished kindergarten through grade 5 are invited. Flat Creek opens enrollment
Flat Creek Baptist Preschool and Kindergarten has begun enrolling this week for the 2010-2011 school year. The preschool is on Flat Creek Trail just off Ga.
