Grantville gospel sing is this weekend
Two free nights of “Old Fashioned Southern Gospel Singing” will be featured at the Old Train Depot in downtown Grantville Friday and Saturday, March 26 and 27, beginning at 7 p.m. Featured groups for Friday’s performance will be Kingdom Express, Mona Gayle Presly, Amazing Grace and One Accord, all from Columbus. Saturday’s performance will feature the Cleghorns from Warner Robins and the Hall Sisters from Soperton.

Brooks UMC thrift shop holds clearance
The Second Chance Thrift Shop, an outreach of Brooks United Methodist Church, will have a giant clearance sale on Saturday, March 27, from 10 a.m. – 3 the gym at Brooks United Methodist Church. The ladies will also have a bake sale. Proceeds from all purchases will go to local, national and international mission organizations. Brooks United Methodist Church is three miles south of Ga. Inman plans easter Egg Hunt
Inman United Methodist Church will have an Easter Egg Hunt for all children in the community at the church’s Youth House Saturday, March 27, from 2-4 p.m. For more information, call 770-461-2123.

Summit announces egg hunt, barbecue
The Church at The Summit will host a free Easter Egg hunt and barbecue on Saturday, March 27 from 4-6 p.m. There will be face painting and many activities for the children. See the website for more information and directions:

NHBC will offer musical program
The Sanctuary Choir and Friends of National Heights Baptist Church will present Joseph Martin’s “Covenant of Grace” on Palm Sunday evening, March 28 at 7 p.m. The program will also include selections from Handel’s “Messiah” accompanied by Hugh Waddy on the organ. There will be a reception following the program and a nursery provided for the children. Holy Week services at National Heights will also include a Maundy Thursday service on April 1 at 7 p.m. The church is three miles from Fayetteville at the intersection of Ga. Highway 54 West and Sandy Creek Road.

Woolsey to present Easter Cantata
The Celebration Choir of Woolsey Baptist Church will present its Easter Cantata Sunday night, March 28, at 6 p.m. The presentation will be “The Day He Wore My Crown, a Resurrection Musical,” created and arranged by David T. Bethany’s choir to perform special music
The adult choir at Bethany United Methodist Church will present a special musical performance, “Hallelujah! Praise the Lamb!” at the 11 a.m. service on Sunday, March 28 (Palm Sunday). The service also will feature scripture readings for Passion/Palm Sunday. Lunch will follow the service. Bethany is at 607 Rivers Rd. Steve Green will appear in PTC
