Grantville gospel sing is this weekend
Two free nights of “Old Fashioned Southern Gospel Singing” will be featured at the Old Train Depot in downtown Grantville Friday and Saturday, March 26 and 27, beginning at 7 p.m. Featured groups for Friday’s performance will be Kingdom Express, Mona Gayle Presly, Amazing Grace and One Accord, all from Columbus. Saturday’s performance will feature the Cleghorns from Warner Robins and the Hall Sisters from Soperton.
Brooks UMC thrift shop holds clearance
The Second Chance Thrift Shop, an outreach of Brooks United Methodist Church, will have a giant clearance sale on Saturday, March 27, from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.in the gym at Brooks United Methodist Church. NHBC will offer musical program
The Sanctuary Choir and Friends of National Heights Baptist Church will present Joseph Martin’s “Covenant of Grace” on Palm Sunday evening, March 28 at 7 p.m. The program will also include selections from Handel’s “Messiah” accompanied by Hugh Waddy on the organ. There will be a reception following the program and a nursery provided for the children. Holy Week services at National Heights will also include a Maundy Thursday service on April 1 at 7 p.m. The church is three miles from Fayetteville at the intersection of Ga. Highway 54 West and Sandy Creek Road.

Bethany’s choir to perform special music
