Coweta-Fayette EMC awarded Landmark Christian School’s first grade teacher, Mrs. Linda Riley, a grant of $1500.00 and she has put it to good use in her classroom. Mrs. Riley put together themed literacy bags. Each bag has several books that match the “theme”, activities and journals.

For example if you take home the “Cookies Capers” bag then you have several books to read with a cookie theme, a Toss Your Cookies game, a journal and a bag of cookie mix to make with your Mom or Dad. There are a total of 22 bags, one for each student.

Mrs Riley’s students include: (alphabetically) Kayla Ary, Meagan Bryant, Kathryn Clark, Thomas Gardner, Emilie Higgs, Alex Maginnis, Jack McDonald, Samantha McGurl, Bradley Powers, Aubrey Schrimsher, Charles Smallhorn, Zachary Thoman, Madelyn Wolfe, and Kaitlin Young.
