Frank T. Coppage, 78, Senoia, died Feb. 2, 2010. He was born June 14, 1931, in Brooks County, Ga. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ivy and Katie Dixon Coppage, and six brothers and sisters. He was graduated from Miami, Fla. Edison High School in 1948. He served in the United States Coast Guard. He owned and operated a roof painting company in Miami, and then moved to LaFayette, Ga. in1978 opening a building and supply store which he ran until retirement in 1997. In 2005 he and his wife moved to Senoia to be closer to family. He enjoyed working outdoors.
Memorial services were at the First Baptist Church, Senoia with interment at Camp Ground Cemetery, Mt. Zion Methodist Church, Morven, Ga. Survivors include is wife, Jackie Kay Duke Coppage, whom he married Feb. 22, 1957; sons, Ken and Donniece Coppage, Mobile, Ala.,David and Melissa Coppage, Peachtree City, Joel and Leslie Coppage, Birmingham, Ala., Jim and Jeni Coppage, Darien, Ga.; a daughter, Karen and Hal Massingill, Pueblo West, Colo. and 14 great-grandchildren. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Peachtree City, was in charge.
