Beryl Raymond Pelt, 75, Fayetteville, died Dec. 31, 2009. He served for 10 years in the United States Air Force and then worked as an aircraft mechanic for 23 years with Eastern Air Lines. He then worked for 8 years at Lockheed. He loved to garden, sharing the fruits of his labors with friends and family. He was also an avid fisherman. The body was cremated.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Patsy K. Pelt, Fayetteville; a son, John Stuart and Jody Pelt, Locust Grove; a daughter, Allison Kay and Lin Aultman, Fayetteville; grandchildren, Jonathan Paul and Holly Aultman, Peachtree City, Aryn Nicole Aultman, Fayetteville, Kayley Elizabeth Pelt, Syndey Rae Pelt, and Josh Avery Pelt, all of Locust Grover; a twin brother, Earl and Jean Pelt, Leesburg, Fla., and a brother James and Patsy Pelt, DeLand, Fla.; sisters, Josie Cadwell, and Fran Lavender, both of Leesburg, Fla.; and a sister-in-law, Peggie Pelt, Leesburg, Fla. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
