A 13-week class on Scripture passages related to healings performed by Christ was taught at the Cathedral of Christ the King in Sharpsburg. Teachers were Bonnie Bar, MSN, RN, an associate professor of nursing at the State University of West Georgia in Carrollton, and James Taylor, DPC, a chaplain at Piedmont-Fayette Hospital. Completion of the class is a requirement for members of the order of St. Luke the Physician, an international, interdenominational healing order.
