David E. Nelms

David E. Nelms, 77, Fayetteville, died Dec. 9, 2009. Services were at Flat Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Priester officiating. Interment was at Westview Cemetery, Atlanta. Survivors include his wife, Jerolean Nelms, Fayetteville; a daughter, Cherie Brush, Alachua, Fla.; brothers, Glenn Nelms, Fayetteville, and Fred Nelms, Cliftondale; sisters, Helen Stallings, and Anne Batten, both of Clayton County, and Elsie Risher, Rockland, Fla.; a sisters-in-law, Cordelia Nelms, Conyers; and a brother-in-law, George Clayman, Baltimore, Md. Memorial donations may be made to Sparks Inn at Christian City, Union City. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
