The fountain adjacent to the county complex in downtown Fayetteville is about to get a facelift. The Fayette County Commission on Feb. 23 approved up to $65,000 for the project.
The fountain was built by county staff in 1996. The construction was accomplished using a lower-grade granite which was difficult to repair, staff said.
