Arlevia Barber Hall, Newnan, died Aug. 23, 1009. She was born July 28, 1923 in Newnan. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ambers and Pearlie Barber, her husband, Richard Hall, whom she married July 12, 1931, and a daughter, Ruth Hall Watkins, and seven siblings. She was a member of Burns Chapel United Methodist Church and as a regular worshipper and supporter. She supported her family as a domestic worker, seamstress and cook. She lived life to its fullest and touched the lives of many.

Services were at the Burns United Methodist Church with interment at Eastview Cemetery. The Rev. Crawford L. Paggett officiated. Survivors include daughters. Gloria Hall Benford, and Betty Hall Ware; grandchildren, Montina Watkins, Anthony and Synethia Hill, Cassandra Neely, Sandy Ware, Chris Ware, and Christy Ware Fletcher; 12 great-grandchildren; two brothers; eight sisters; and two sisters-in-law. Roscoe Jenkins Funeral Home, Newnan, was in charge.
